Illinois Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine   

IL-PALTC is a statewide medical specialty society dedicated to advancing the quality of health care delivery in post-acute and long-term care settings. Through professional development and education, IL-PALTC supports its members and professional associates in improving the quality of life for patients in PA/LTC settings.

Whether you’ve been working in the field for one year or 20, the Core Curriculum on Medical Direction in PALTC will give you the tools you need to succeed as a medical director. This course provides an opportunity for medical directors to connect from around the country with vastly different experiences. Find out what is happening at other facilities and gain ideas, support, and inspiration. Membership is not required to access AMDA’s COVID-19 Vaccination Toolkit, however you will need to create an account (which is free) if you don’t already have one.

Founded in 1950, the Illinois Health Care Association is a non-profit organization comprised
of nearly 400 licensed and certified long-term care
facilities and programs for the developmentally
disabled throughout the state.

  GAPNA (formerly NCGNP) was founded in 1981 by a group of Gerontological Nurse Practitioners with the 

goal of offering the first continuing education
conferences designed specifically to meet the needs of advanced practice nurses providing care for older adults.
